Mortal Kombat II added $4.0M on its tenth day, taking the domestic total to $62.2M. The Warner Bros. sequel has shown average holding power but continues to lag behind what many had hoped for after its opening weekend.

The film benefited from strong fan interest and decent reviews in the early days. However, the second-week drop has been noticeable, and at 0.99x of its $80M budget, it is still hovering around the break-even mark when marketing costs are factored in.
With competition intensifying next week, Mortal Kombat II will need to stabilise quickly. While it has performed better than the first film, it hasnโt quite reached the level of a breakout video game adaptation.
