This is not a flash in the pan. This is Marathi cinema stepping into the big leagues on its own terms.
Week 2 Snapshot
India Net (D8)₹55.85Cr
Opening Weekend₹33.90Cr (all-time Marathi record)
Budget₹100Cr
Marathi Version ShareDominant

The Marathi version drove the bulk of the opening and continues to lead occupancy. Hindi dub adds urban muscle, but the cultural connect and Ajay-Atul music are powering repeat business even after the Maharashtra Day holiday. The hold in Week 2 has been impressive despite competition from Dhurandhar: The Revenge still ruling screens.

At a ₹100Cr budget this was always an ambitious bet for a primarily regional film. The early numbers suggest the gamble is paying off handsomely and could rewrite expectations for future Maratha-era projects.

The real test ahead: Sustained Week 2 and Week 3 holds will decide whether this becomes a genuine blockbuster for Marathi cinema or a strong but limited regional success.
