Raja Shivaji added ₹2.40Cr on Day 11, taking its lifetime India net to ₹70.65Cr.

Settling into the tail phase after a promising start.
The film dropped 64.7% from the previous day and 57.1% week-on-week. This kind of sharp decline in Week 2 is concerning for a historical drama that opened with decent numbers.
Performance Analysis
Raja Shivaji had a respectable opening, driven by strong curiosity in Maharashtra and parts of North India. The multilingual release (Marathi + Hindi) helped it reach a wider audience initially. However, the drop in Week 2 shows that the film failed to convert opening curiosity into sustained footfalls.
At ₹100Cr budget, the current 0.71x ratio puts the film firmly in Disaster territory. Historical dramas need either massive scale or exceptional word-of-mouth to succeed theatrically. Raja Shivaji has neither at this stage. The Marathi version is performing relatively better in smaller centers, but the Hindi dubbed version is struggling badly.
The film had the advantage of being one of the few big historical releases this year, yet it could not capitalize on that. Competition from bigger Bollywood and South films has also played a role in limiting its screen count in Week 2.
The Riteish Deshmukh starrer had high expectations due to its grand presentation and patriotic theme. While it may find some audience in Maharashtra through satellite and digital rights, the theatrical verdict looks disappointing. This once again highlights the risk involved in big-budget historical films that fail to create strong emotional connect with mass audiences.
