Patriot added a negligible ₹0.03Cr on its 18th day. The Mahesh Narayanan-directed Mammootty-Mohanlal film has now crossed ₹31.5Cr in India Net but is effectively at the end of its theatrical run.
The film had a decent opening and performed well in Kerala and among overseas audiences. However, it failed to sustain momentum beyond the first two weeks. At just 0.23x of its ₹140Cr budget, it stands as a clear commercial disappointment.
While overseas markets provided some cushion, the domestic run has been underwhelming for a film of this scale and star power. The long runtime and mixed word-of-mouth appear to have worked against it.
Final stage: With daily collections this low, Patriot is expected to wrap up its theatrical run within the next few days. Overseas performance remains its only saving grace.
