Karuppu added a solid ₹14.30Cr on its fourth day, taking the total to ₹82.30Cr India Net. What stands out is not just the number itself, but how well the film has managed to hold after a strong opening. Many fantasy action films tend to drop sharply after the first weekend, yet Karuppu has shown better resilience.

The combination of Suriya’s mass appeal and RJ Balaji’s writing appears to be working in the film’s favour. While the drop from Day 3 is visible, the numbers remain healthy enough to suggest that the film has found a core audience that is willing to return or recommend it. The overseas markets have also contributed meaningfully, helping push the worldwide gross past ₹141Cr.
At this pace, Karuppu is on track to become one of the more successful big-budget Tamil films of 2026, even if the budget recovery still looks stretched. The real test will come in the second week, when competition from Hindi and Hollywood releases intensifies.
